Honda is adding five street models to its 2012 lineup. The added models are the CB1000R, CBR250R, Silver Wing scooter, the Ruckus, and the VFR1200F. Read on for a little bit on each new bike from the team here at Motorcycle Insurance Quote.
Let’s start with the VFR1200F. This ride is a V4 screamer featuring technology borrowed from Honda’s MotoGP bikes. 2012 sees the addition of traction control, an automatic dual-clutch transmission, more low-end torque, a larger fuel tank, and a more comfortable seat.
The CB1000R features minimalistic styling and a fuel-injected four-cylinder 998cc powerplant that puts power at the immediate ready. The ride is made a little smoother by a single-sided swingarm with single-shock rear suspension.
The CBR250R offers an easy to handle bike to beginners and old pros alike. It features an extremely fuel efficient 249cc liquid-cooled single-cylinder engine with a four-valve DOHC cylinder head, engine counterbalancer and PGM-FI fuel injection. How does 77 mpg sound to you?
The Silver Wing scooter is designed to open the minds of people who do not truly understand what a scooter can be. It pairs a liquid-cooled fuel-injected four-stroke 582cc twin-cylinder engine with an automatic transmission.
The Ruckus is a no nonsense scooter featuring a 49cc engine that sips gas like a hummingbird.
The automatic transmission and electric starter make it easy for anyone to operate.
The new and improved line-up for 2012 is sure to cement Honda’s position atop the motorcycle industry.
